We chose the Addison for a one night stay to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Lisa and Ron, owners of the inn, were very accommodating when we changed the date of our stay at the last minute due to an impending hurricane. Our room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Lisa and Ron serve complimentary beer, wine, and appys for Happy Hour and a DELICIOUS (and very filling!) breakfast on the outside deck. The inn is walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants in the quaint historic district of Fernandina Beach and a short bicycle ride (bikes provided by the inn) to the beach. Ron and Lisa were the perfect hosts! We could not have asked for a better way to celebrate our anniversary!

We recently heard that Amelia Island was a great getaway spot for couples. We have stayed at B&Bs many times and were fortunate enough now to chose The Addison. The Addison's location is perfect for downtown access and both beach and bay. Our room was terrific. Lisa and Ron were exceptional hosts. Breakfast was incredible every morning and we dared not miss the 5:30PM happy hour. We met a few other couples which added to our experience. Debbie and I will be returning and would highly recommend staying at the Addison.

Wonderful Select Registry Experience at a New Select Registry Property - The Addison on Amelia Island I looked for a Select Registry Inn on Amelia Island for our 49th Anniversary Celebration. Our plan included a visit to the 2019 "Southern Living" Idea House nearby. I did not find a Select Registry Inn on Amelia Island so I started looking for small boutique hotels and upscale bed and breakfast inns. After a dutiful search of photos and reviews I showed my results to Gayle, my wife, and she agreed. The Addison on Amelia looked like a nice property that would offer a wonderful experience. I called the Addison and talked to co-owner Lisa and explained we would like to book a room and that we would enjoy a boat outing through the salt marshes and dinner at wonderful dining establishments the next two nights. She was pleased to help us make some selections based on her experience. On arrival we noticed a newly installed "Select Registry - Member" sign on the front entrance. We commented upon it and the owners said, "yes, we just got word of our acceptance into the member inns this week and the sign and kiosk just arrived." We were at the Addison for 3 full days and it was an exceptional experience. The Inn offers daily "Happy Hour" with complimentary wine, beer and tasty appetizers. The innkeepers use this social time to learn about guest interests and share things to include in their Island itinerary. The daily breakfast was exceptional - and they serve great coffee in a real personalized Addison Mugs - made in America. I hate paying $8 at large hotels for a paper cup of burnt coffee. We just received professional photos from our afternoon and sunset boat cruise around Amelia Island and over to Cumberland Island. Lisa arranged the evening with "Amelia Adventures." We had an afternoon and evening to our-selves on our private "Captained" boat. He was very knowledgeable about the marshes and shared the rich history of Cumberland Island. It was clear he loved his job. We very much enjoyed this adventure. The dinner reservations were made at delightful chef inspired restaurants each just a five-minute walk from the inn's front door. And yes, we did get to visit Southern Living's 2019 Idea House just a short drive from the Addison on Amelia. Gorgeous furnished house overlooking the Amelia River. Lots of wonderful "Ideas" to remember. We stayed in a luxurious corner suite with an outdoor balcony overlooking Ash Street. After dinner and a cooling thunderstorm we sat out there with a glass of Cognac and recollected our 49 years together. Gayle said, we better start working on the 50th as this trip will be hard to top. Much thanks to Owners/Innkeepers Ron and Lisa West. You offered a delightful and memorable experience. We applaud you and your team for providing us a wonderful 49th anniversary celebration at the Addison on Amelia. David and Gayle Darugh

The owners, Lisa & Ron, are super gracious hosts. We enjoyed the happy hours and breakfasts. While we liked our stay in Amelia in the Florida Inn last year, our room this year at the Addison was much brighter and more spacious. The staff paid attention to every single detail of our stay. There recommendations for dinner were perfect. Wish I could give them 10 stars instead of 5!

My husband and I were looking to have a place to stay for the Rolling Stones concert in Jacksonville. Instead of our typical "chain" places, we wanted something quaint. I have stayed at B&B's before, they are quaint and nice! THIS WAS SPECTACULAR. Lisa and Ron made it special with great hospitality and food. The rooms were amazingly big and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! What sheets do you buy??? I want some. Lisa has been scouring recipes and mastered some good ones for breakfast. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend! We kept the local unique shops economy going! The whole experience is worth going to Amelia and The Addison on Amelia.

The Addison On Amelia Island

The Addison at Amelia Island My wife and I were looking for a nice, quiet place, within a 3-4 hour drive to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary, and considered Amelia Island. We’d heard of it, but neither of us had been there before, so we thought we’d give it a try. We checked hotels....and found some really nice ones in the area, including the Ritz-Carlton and Omni Resorts, both of which were beautiful properties, but well beyond our preferred price range. After a couple of quick online searches of “places to stay in Amelia Island” we stumbled on to The Addison at Amelia Island. We began looking at reviews online. It seemed that everywhere we looked, we saw an overwhelming number of positive reviews (typically 5-star) including those found on Trip Advisor. All we saw were great reviews, but because of our suspicious nature, we thought that “nothing could really be this good”. We followed that with reviews on other sites, and encountered the same thing. With our suspicions eased, we decided to take a chance, and reserved a room for the upcoming Saturday and Sunday night —and we are so glad we did! From the moment we arrived mid-afternoon on Saturday, until our departure on Monday morning, we had a wonderful experience at The Addison. The property itself was beautiful — off the busy streets, but within easy walking distance to interesting and occasionally eclectic shops, restaurants and marina. Additionally, The Addison also offered free access to their bicycles if we were interested in exploring further away, without having to drive. Our room was clean, spacious, and (most importantly) quiet. We could hear nothing outside our room, no road noise, nearby conversations...nothing, which made for a tranquil and relaxing weekend. What really topped-off the weekend for us were Ron and Lisa — our hosts. They were so gracious, giving and engaging, from the moment we checked-in until we finally checked-out. The actual check-in was quick and painless...after signing one paper, they gave us a complete tour of the property, and informed us that they would have breakfast prepared for us every morning, they provided complementary drinks and snacks throughout they day, and would host a meet-and-greet, every evening with hors d'oeuvres, and complementary beer / wine. It is worth mentioning that the breakfasts Lisa prepared were not your typical short-order fare. These were unique, flavorful, and beautifully presented meals one would only expect at a high-end restaurant. In fact, I think Lisa made a concerted effort to ensure her guests not receive the same meal twice. We had no special requests or needs during our stay, but I’m confident that Ron and Lisa would go out of their way to accommodate us....they were wonderful hosts! While Amelia Island has lots to see and do, from Fort Clinch, to the beach, hiking trails, sea-tours and kayaking, to name a few - it might be a bit too sedate for those that want to be on the go-go-go all weekend. However, if you’re looking for a place that can offer some interesting things to do, along with some quality down time, then Amelia Island could be a great location...and The Addison, with Ron and Lisa would be the perfect place to stay to savor that down time. We will definitely do this again!

This place is just perfect! My husband and I stayed here over the 4th of July weekend for a much needed getaway and we were not disappointed. Lisa and Ron are such sweethearts! You can tell they love what they do and truly enjoy hosting their guests. They made us feel right at home and were very accommodating. My husband and I both have food allergies and Lisa was so kind to make a specially prepared breakfast just for us that was delicious! The property is beautifully kept and expertly managed. The staff keeps the rooms at a high standard of cleanliness that you would expect to find at a hotel. The weather was hot and rainy, as you would expect in Florida during this time, so it was nice to come back to such a beautiful and comfortable room in the afternoons to rest before heading back out for more fun. As someone who has worked in both the service and hospitality industries for many years, I can say without a doubt that this bed and breakfast is excellent! As for the surrounding area, you can't find a more ideal location. The Addison is so picturesque, surrounded by beautiful historic homes. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Fernandina Beach. These local businesses are one-of-a-kind and not to be missed! It is also a short drive or bike ride to the beach front and state parks, with lots of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. The weather limited some of our excursions, but we hope to return in the fall when it's a bit cooler to enjoy more of what the area has to offer. We had a lovely stay. If you're looking for a quiet bed and breakfast with good food, relaxing surroundings, and great company, this is the place to be. Thank you, Lisa and Ron!

The room was VERY clean, well appointed with everything you will need, and comfortable throughout. It’s wonderful to finally find a historic B & B that is maintained properly with details/amenities that are modernized when appropriate. Staying downtown at The Addison allows for you to walk to everything (downtown and the piers). They are under two miles from Fort Clinch State Park and Fort. Here you will find tons of history and the best uninterrupted beach on the island. The breakfasts and happy hours are all made fresh and wonderful ways to start and end your days. Rooms are great and contain everything you could need. The owners are very kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful.

We have been to the Addison B&B three times in the past 12 months, staying multiple nights each visit. There you go! Need we say more? Okay - Reasons we love the Addison: The Innkeepers Lisa and Ron are high-spirited, efficient and very friendly hosts. The minute we stepped into the charming B&B and were greeted by Ron and Lisa, we knew we were into something good! They are delightful and were continuously engaged with their guests, ensuring an excellent experience. The rooms are beautiful and airy; we have stayed in several different rooms, having completely enjoyed each. All are well-appointed, and the beds, bedding and pillows are very comfortable. Most of the rooms have a balcony/outdoor sitting area overlooking either the courtyard’s beautiful gardens and fountain or a wonderful street view. Happy hour, with nicely selected wine, beer, or soft drink and a delicious appetizer, takes place at 5:30p on the wonderful courtyard deck, weather permitting; otherwise in the cozy sitting room with a fireplace. It is a lively and fun-filled nightly event…we have met the greatest people from various places throughout the U.S. as well as Europe. And some we continue to stay in touch with. A warm breakfast is freshly prepared each morning; fresh fruit is often a starter to the main course. Lisa and Ron inquire about dietary needs when a guest books a room. They are happy to accommodate as they did for us. We travel via auto with our bicycles; a bicycle shed houses bikes the B&B has available for guest use and for bicycles brought by guests. The Addison is situated in a perfect location for walking and bicycling. Many restaurants and shops, the Amelia Island Museum of History and Amelia Community Theatre, land and water tours and more are steps away in downtown Fernandina. We take advantage of it all. Once we arrive at the B&B, our car does not move until the day of departure. With each visit, Lisa and Ron have continuously upheld the high standard they set. We enthusiastically look forward to our 4th visit!

We stayed here 4 nights on our 11 night road trip and I wish we had stayed longer - I hated to leave! My husband was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s, already has COPD and has limited mobility. When I made our reservation months ago I chose room #7 because I loved the colors and I knew we needed first floor accommodations. Well, since his diagnosis his ability to walk has become worse so I called and spoke to Ron about this - he kindly told me they would have a handicap space reserved for us right outside the ramp to our room. So, that was a good start. It only got better and better from the moment we checked in. Loved the warmth of the room. Loved the bathroom. Loved the settee outside our room which was always in the shade. The breakfasts were different every day and were so filling - I don’t think I finished any of them and it wasn’t because of the quality or taste - they were delicious! There were always two courses, Ron was always there to freshen the coffee or juice. 5:30 each evening they have wine and an appetizer - Ron is very involved in selecting his wines - he’s a member of some site online and knows his wines. Lisa makes an interesting appetizer every evening. They were all wonderful the 4 nights we were there - I changed one of our reservations for dinner so we wouldn’t miss their evening reception - loved meeting people from different locations and hearing about their days. I loved this place so much that I booked another 4 nights in November and can’t wait to come back! Ron and Lisa have only owned this lovely B&B for about two years and their love for it shows in every detail!

We cannot say enough good things about this place! We arrived early on a Thursday and were greeted warmly by one of the owners and the special puppy greeters. Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean. We loved the happy hour and how close The Addison was to downtown. The breakfasts were amazing and I loved the attention to even the smallest detail. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Great location in the historic district of Fernandina Beach. Easy walk to many, many restaurants, shopping and the harbor. The facility is clean and comfortable in every respect. The room and bathroom were excellent. The breakfasts were very good with with bottomless cups of coffee. The afternoon reception with beer, wine and appetizer are a really nice touch. Ron and Lisa were outstanding hosts. I can't recommend this the Addison enough.

The Addison on Amelia Island is the best B&B on the island and definitely recommended. The location is walking distance to everything in the historic district, the rooms and common areas are first rate, and the owners Ron and Lisa are both gracious and welcoming. Lisa can go head-to-head with any gourmet chef and breakfast each morning is an adventure in excellence. Cannot say enough about our stay at the Addison.

What an amazingly perfect B&B!! There are just so many things to rave about with The Addison on Amelia that I hardly know where to begin. First and foremost what makes this place outstanding are the hosts. Lisa and Ron are incredibly kind and instantly made us feel like old friends. Their interaction with the guests was effortless and sincere, and I was amazed at how they were able to take time to have meaningful and helpful conversations with us all. Another plus was how the rooms were nearly at capacity but somehow it never felt crowded or like there were too many of us in the same spaces at the same time. Lisa’s breakfast creations were absolutely delicious and filling all 3 mornings we were there, and Ron is the perfect Happy Hour host! Our room was nicely decorated and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Opening our door in the morning to be greeted by the sweet courtyard and relaxing sounds of the fountain was a favorite feature. The location of the Inn is perfectly set in the historic district of Fernandina Beach and you will be able to park your car and walk to all of the shops and restaurants you want to visit in the district. Lisa was able to suggest and arrange dinner reservations for us at two astoundingly delicious restaurants and even booked a horse drawn carriage ride after dinner which made for a memorable Anniversary celebration. To say we fell in love with it all is an understatement. We will be back very soon! If you are trying to decide where to stay for your visit just stop looking- The Addison is where you want to be.

My wife and I spent three wonderful nights at the Addison, located within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the Historic District of Fernandina Beach. Lisa and Ron are the consummate hosts, ensuring their guests are welcomed each morning with a wonderful and varied breakfast, and ending the day with a relaxing and quaint happy hour of win, beer, and appetizers. They accommodated my dietary needs with wonderful substitutions. Being greeted by Molly, their black Lab, was very special and sweet, and we always looked to seeing her and getting a tail wag. The Addison Bed and Breakfast is one of the best appointed, and up to date B & Bs, while still keeping true to its original authenticity.

We spent two nights at the lovely Addison, well located only a block from the main drag in Fernandina Beach. This beautiful vintage property has three buildings surrounding a small pretty courtyard with fountain. Verandas/patios from many rooms in the building face the courtyard and provide wonderful places to relax in comfortable chairs. One nice feature is that many of the rooms in the auxiliary buildings have direct access from the street through the courtyard. Breakfast is excellent and varied, and can be taken from a veranda overlooking the courtyard, a beautiful and quite civilized way to start the day if weather allows. Wine and snacks are served there in the early evening as well. The main house is nicely decorated and has many original 19th Century features such as original floors, moldings, medallions, etc. Hosts Ron and Lisa are very friendly and helpful throughout your stay. It's hard to resist petting the ever-present love sponge, Molly the black lab; little Lulu is perhaps best observed rather than petted! Rooms are well appointed and have modern amenities despite the age of the property. A minor air-conditioning issue was repaired without incident. The bed was comfortable and we liked our room overall. The location only a block from the main street in Fernandina Beach is a plus, allowing quick access to restaurants and shops. Parking for the hotel is on the street, but it was easy to find spots at all times. This is not a beach hotel if that is your focus, but the beach is not far away, nor is the beautiful and interesting Ft. Clinch State Park. We definitely would return to this lovely and friendly place the next time we visit Amelia Island!

Other reviewers have said it all well. The location is ideal, easy walking distance to the restaurants and attractions in the Historic District of Fernandina Beach. Parking is perfect; our spot in front of the Addison was always free when we returned from a drive. The rooms are beautiful and beds terrific. Room tip: Room 11 has a marvelous walk-in shower for those who aren't into tubs, so to speak. Room 11 also has a lovely perspective looking down on the courtyard and fountain nestled within the confines of the Addison. The courtyard and the historic building are enchanting. You will not want to leave. Okay, Lisa and Ron are pretty enchanting too in the way they make the relaxed atmosphere and flawless operation of the inn seem effortless. We wondered how the happy hours would go; they were low key and gave us the opportunity to meet interesting people and exchange suggestions on activities and restaurants. For what it is worth, our stay was for five nights.

We recently took a trip to Amelia Island and agonized over where to stay - stay near the beach, stay near town? Which B&B? We are SO happy we picked Addison on Amelia, not only for the location, but for the inn itself, and even more so because of the owners. Lisa and Ron are such warm, hospitable people, they made our stay more than memorable. The Inn "proper" is really pretty, well kept, with a lot of interesting features. Every morning there is coffee and tea available and free Wall St Journal. You can sit inside or out. We loved coming down before breakfast to grab a coffee and paper and sit outside on the porch in the quiet to start the day. Even though we were early birds, Ron or Lisa always were there the greet us and ask if we needed anything. The porch is lovely, and where breakfast is served, or inside the inn. Lisa's breakfasts are like eating at a gourmet restaurant. I was anxious about going to a B&B as I have a great many food restrictions for medical reasons. Lisa went way above and beyond to make sure that I had a delicious breakfast every morning that I could eat. I can't begin to say what that meant and it spoke volumes about their level of hospitality. Lisa and Ron also host a cocktail hour before dinner on the porch. It's a lovely area overlooking a beautiful courtyard. So charming and beautiful at dusk. It was great to meet the other guests and share stories of the day. The inn is unique in that you can stay either in the original inn or in one of the rooms in the addition overlooking the courtyard. Really, you have the best of both worlds. We elected to stay in one of the rooms in the addition, and weren't disappointed. Very quiet, comfortable, huge bathroom, comfortable bed, good sized room, free wi-fi and a porch to sit out on. One of the best things about the Addison on Amelia is it's location. Smack dab in the middle of the historic district. We loved walking around and seeing all the homes, and being able to walk to dinner every night, or to walk to town in the morning, poke around the shops, have lunch, then walk back to the inn to take a nap. Lisa and Ron are full of suggestions about what to see and do and will take care of all the arrangements for you. They are wonderful, caring, interesting people who do everything to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. They also have 2 sweet dogs if you, like us, left yours at home and need a "dog fix". We wouldn't stay anywhere else when we return, since after being here and seeing what else there is, there is no better place to stay on Amelia Island given the location, the inn itself, and the hosts. The Addison on Amelia has it all - in spades. I'd give it 6 starts if I could.

It was our first time on Amelia Island and we really lucked out by picking The Addison on Amelia Island. The owners were so personable and really great to talk to over breakfast. They were there for any help we needed and had a ton of great ideas and brochures for activities while on the island. They also were not overbearing and give you as much privacy as you desire. Seriously, the perfect Inn Keepers. The breakfast was fantastic all 4 mornings! Not one critique here. My wife and I stayed in room #3 and it was spacious and clean and was cleaned every morning by housekeeping as well. It was the best to wake from the over sized comfy bed and sit on the balcony drinking our first cup of joe. The over sized deep tub and the fireplace made this room the perfect get away after walking the city and hanging at the beach all day. They offer amenities for the things you may have forgotten and best of all they offer beach chairs and umbrellas! The beach is a just a quick jaunt down the road and you can ride one of the bikes they offer if you desire (all included in the price of your room). It is in the perfect location in the historic district to walk anywhere and very safe area too. We loved it there so much and would recommend to anyone wanting a great experience on Amelia Island. Don't miss this experience!

Bob and I have stayed at many B&B's through the years and Addison House on Amelia Island is high on our list of the best. Care and attention is front and center for this B&B and the owners Ron and Lisa. Lisa's breakfasts were just the right size, delicious and not overloaded with the calories of homemade muffins and breads. I looked forward to her evening appetizer almost as much as I did Ron's wine selections. No decanted wine mask to obscure its origin; a little known, different and good bottle or two each evening was generously poured and discussed by Ron. The historic house is beautifully updated with a tale of ownership. Wish I had had more time to sit on the front porch swing. Walking downtown to dinner, biking to some pretty sites were pluses for us. Although coming from Sanibel Island I think motorists do need a few lessons from Sanibel on courtesy to cyclists. Why look for anywhere else to stay in Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island.

Just returned from a fabulous vaca at this little gem of a bed & breakfast... from the moment we arrived we felt very special.. we were greeted by our lovely hostess/ Innkeeper Lisa & her beautiful black Lab Molly. Later, Ron (Lisa’s husband) gave us a tour of this beautiful quaint home & escorted us to our room. Later that day Lisa prepared a delicious appetizer & we shared good wine & conversation with other guests. Which is a daily routine here... In the morning Lisa serves a scrumptious breakfast that she & Ron prepares...I felt so welcomed & comfortable in their home. Everything is in walking distance & Lisa will even make the arrangements for excursions for you.. Bikes are on the property if you want to take a ride anywhere..which we enjoyed. I truly adored this home & the lovely owners.. can’t forget sweet Molly & precious Lulu too. We definitively plan a return visit in the near future. Andie

My husband surprised me with three nights at the Addison. What a wonderful birthday present. Lisa and Ron are so welcoming. Our room was fantastic. We walked into a large room with fire place, king size bed and bathroom with whirlpool tub. My husband ordered the romantic package so we were greeted with the most beautiful roses, cheese crackers and fruit and a bottle of wine chilling. The package includes a delightful carriage ride tour of the historic homes and gift certificate to use for dinner. The location is just a few steps away from wonderful restaurants and just a few short blocks to main street. Lovely to be on a quiet street in a historic home. The happy-hour each evening (beer, wine and appetizers), allowed us the opportunity to meet other guests and learn what they had done during the day. The breakfasts were delicious. Lisa accommodated my vegetarian diet. Each meal was different and varied. We visited on a cold weekend 48 degrees at night so the fire places were very welcome. The whirlpool tub was very relaxing after a day of walking. I highly recommend staying here. Lisa and Ron know how to do it right,

After extensive research (my spouse was a former travel agent), we selected The Addison because of the many positive reviews and the ideal location. Fernandina Beachs' historic downtown is literally a five-minute walk. The downtown is very quaint with numerous shops ranging from bookstores to fine clothing to antique shops. There are so many restaurants to choose from, a good problem to have. Lisa and Ron, the owners of The Addison, are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They assisted us in booking a 30 minute carriage ride that picked us up right outside the B&B and dropped us off right by our restaurant (Le Clos - highly recommend). Our room (#3) was very spacious and the bed, heavenly. Each morning Lisa had a delicious and hearty breakfast awaiting, and Ron is quick to keep your coffee/juice glass full - great start for the day. Each evening from 5:30-6:30, they provide wine/beer and a light appetizer on the side porch, very relaxing. We relaxed on the beach one day and Ron equipped us with beach chairs, umbrellas, and even suntan lotion. I highly recommend The Addison and will most definitely return.

It was either stay at a hotel for 2 days before my conference or do a B&B. I know I made the right choice staying at the Addison. Owners Ron and Lisa could not have been more hospitable! From taking my reservation to that 5:30 pm wine taste with fellow visitors. Do not look for dark wood, old closets, doll heads or doilies! Everything is great taste, comfortable and easy. I loved my Room#2. Big lux clean bathroom filled with high end toiletries and an awesome jet spa tub, bay windows, a working electric fireplace on the first floor. This was my choice but I heard the 2nd floor rooms are great. Breakfast were vegan or not, no old silverware or second hand dishes. Our hosts work hard to make breakfast comfortable and not rushed. They make their hard wourk look easy... a sign of true professionals. There is well stocked refrigerator with a variety of cold drinks in the comfortable dining room off the private guest patio. Teas and coffee are steps away. I brought plenty of reading materials but the Addison had plenty of nice things to read. if you did not want to take a historical walking tour or wander thru the historic district, this B&B gives you a reason to just hang out. Everything one needs is a short walk away. Allow our hosts to recommend a great place to dine. Casual, friendly, and stress free. I thoroughly enjoyment stay. Yes, I look forward to coming back. This was our second visit to The Addison and it was even better than the first. This is a beautiful inn near the town center but still just a short hop to the beach. You can walk to dinner at a different restaurant every night. The very clean rooms are bright and airy but still maintain that old inn feel. Each room has a lovely, modern bath and there is always ample space for your things. The parlor and dining room are warm and inviting and we love the rear porch where breakfast and happy hour take place. Most of the rooms surround a lovely courtyard where a fountain runs continuously. If you like to sip your morning coffee sitting quietly on a porch and listening to a fountain, this is the place for you. Ron and Lisa are great hosts and make you feel like you are visiting with friends. We always make it a point to get back for wine and whatever special treat Lisa has prepared for that early evening time on the back porch. This year we reserved for Thanksgiving dinner and it was wonderful. My husband was sure we were just going to get a plate like in a restaurant. But it was just like having dinner with family. There was plenty to go around! You will not be disappointed with your choice when you choose to stay at this inn.

My husband and I just returned from a two-night stay at the Addison. We researched for a long time before deciding to book the Addison, and made our decision based partly on other reviewers' emphasis on how welcoming and friendly were the proprietors, Ron and Lisa. We were not misled! Besides the perfect location in the historic district within easy walking distance to downtown and great restaurants (see my separate reviews for Fernandina restaurants), the clean, comfortable and luxurious accommodations, and the delicious breakfasts, The Addison offers a relaxed ambiance that makes one feel as if they are a guest in the home of a good friend. This is the direct result of the passion, care and commitment that Lisa and Ron have for inn-keeping. They seem to genuinely enjoy people, their work, and getting to know their guests. This was evident in everything they did to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. There are so many details to mention from the comfortable bed to a fresh supply of chocolates and bottled water in the room every day to beach towels for the beach - too many to mention here. These details, along with Ron and Lisa's attentive and tireless service to their guests, make the Addison even better than home. We are already planning a return stay next Spring. ROOM TIP: Room #3, is bright, airy, roomy and quiet, and could almost be termed a suite. It has no dedicated sitting room as such, but does have two upholstered chairs and plenty of storage for clothes. It stretches across the whole front of the second floor of the main house and has windows on three sides, if you include the large private en suite bathroom. The feature we most enjoyed was the large private balcony with 2 chairs, a small table, and a round table with 4 chairs. The balcony gets the ocean breezes - at least it did when we were there in mid-October - and we enjoyed it as much as we did the room itself. NOTE: Reviewers often mention parking at the Inn. On site parking is limited at the inn - as elsewhere in Fernandina - but we had no issue parking on the street right in front of the inn, and actually found it very convenient for loading and unloading our luggage. There are also public parking spaces on the cross street which would have worked well too. Once parked we did not need our car much as we could easily walk to restaurants, but did use it to drive to the beach and other activities.

Lisa and Ron are doing a great job, putting a lot of time and heart into it. The happy hours were a lot of fun, chatting with other visitors from around the country. Breakfasts were delicious. The room was clean and quiet. Thanks again!

I rarely write reviews, but the Addison is such an outstanding place to stay that I had felt compelled to write a review. We stayed here 3 nights, we just left this morning. The room was amazing, really clean, fabulous sheets, great chairs outside our room for relaxing. The breakfasts were amazing and the guest reception in the evening was fun and relaxing. They have beach chairs and umbrellas to borrow for the beach which is really nice. The owners were the best part! Ron and Lisa were so friendly and gave us plenty of ideas of things to do and places to eat. We left this morning and are already planning our trip back in February to escape the Kansas weather. I would highly recommend this wonderful Bed and Breaskfast!

From the moment I reached out to Lisa via email to discuss their packages she was great! She made my decision easy and allowed me to book a package which included a couples massage but not for my husband and I, but for my mother and my husband, in separate massage rooms of course. They were thrilled to start their vacation with a massage! Both Lisa and Ron were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The inn is very clean and our stay was superb. We will definitely be back! Absolutely accommodating! Thank you for hosting a great weekend for us!

My wife and myself had an amazing time. The exterior of the house matched the surrounding neighborhoods, turn of the century theme(late 1800's-early 1900's). The rooms were very comfortable and well kept. The owners were extremely kind and generous, they made you felt welcome. The B&B had a happy hour, that was very relaxing and fun. If you inquired about any information on what to do, where to eat or even to book an event, the owners took care of this. The B&B was a few blocks from main street which had fabulous restaurants, stores and specialty shops as well! We took a trip to the beach, that was a 10 minute drive, and we were given chairs, beach towels and umbrella to use. Lisa and Ron were delightful hosts, warm, caring and friendly. We will be returning with our friends! Highly recommend this B&B!

My boyfriend and I spent a 3 day weekend on Amelia Island, and I'm so happy to have chosen The Addison for our stay. Everything was immaculate- our room was bright and airy, with charming views of the street. The owners were more than happy to give us advice on dining and outings- we were able to walk to practically everything, except a couple of things that were maybe a mile or two away (they did have bicycles for us to use but we opted for the A/C of our car). I would highly recommend anyone who is going to Amelia Island to stay at The Addison!

We spent a night at the Addison Inn for our anniversary. From the minute we walked in, to the moment we left, we were well taken care of by the innkeepers. Check-in was a smooth process and we were shown the property and our room. We stayed in Room 3 and it was just as beautiful as the pictures. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable, the room was super clean, and romantic. The balcony was nice and overlooked a historic street. The grounds were impeccable. The breakfast was delicious: cantaloupe, sweet potato pancakes and candied bacon. The pancakes were light and fluffy. Amazing! One of the best things was smelling coffee being made early in the morning. The innkeepers are welcoming and we had everything we needed. It couldn't have been a more perfect experience. This inn has ignited a new love of B&B's for us.

The Addison on Amelia Island is ideally situated in town. It’s a few blocks from the Main Street with restaurants and shops and steps away from quiet eateries on the side blocks. The inn is tastefully appointed with comfortable beds, soft sheets, TV, WiFi, outdoor chairs and rockers outside each room, a front porch with a swing and rockers. Each night cocktails and light snacks are served from 5:30-7 pm. Ron and Lisa West will make you feel right at home. They will accommodate any dietary restrictions, help make dinner reservations, reservations for activities such as kayaking or horse drawn carriage rides, etc. We have stayed in many B&B’s over the years and rarely repeat a stay but this was our second stay with Addison. It certainly won’t be our last.

As regular B&B travelers, we’ve frequented many inns in the US, and could not stop thinking that we had finally found that perfect experience after our stay here. The Addison, in addition to being such a lovely property, is run by a couple that is equally gracious themselves. The perfect hosts, Lisa and Ron, with seemingly effortless ease, made us feel welcomed and comfortable from the very moment we arrived and every single day of our stay. They were the perfect hosts; friendly, but not intrusive, helpful, informative, and simply just nice! The amazing full breakfast each day that they prepare is delicious, as is the awesome social hour in the afternoon out on the veranda. We met such interesting and fun fellow guests each day and thoroughly enjoyed the wine, beer, nibbles and company. Our stay could not have been more perfect. Lisa and Ron have spoiled us for all other stays anywhere else!

My wife and I recently spent four nights at the Addison to celebrate our anniversary and one last vacation before our baby arrives. We were very happy with our stay. The room (#14) had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning while drinking coffee on our balcony overlooking Ash St. The location of the Addison relative to all of the shopping, restaurants, and other attractions like Fort Clinch and the beach make access a breeze with a short walk. The inn offers their guests many additional amenities such as bicycles and beach chairs and umbrellas which we used for our beach day. The innkeepers were very welcoming, friendly and outgoing and did everything to ensure we were pleased with our stay. They offered to make our dinner reservations at the restaurants of our choice which I highly recommend to anyone who visits--it my be difficult to get a table without them. Each evening, the beautiful courtyard with tropical plants and a fountain served as the perfect setting for the complementary happy hour hosted by the innkeepers. This was a great way to meet and chat with the other guests to share of everyone's experiences on the island each day. The breakfasts each morning were very delicious and filling, featuring fresh ingredients from the local farmers market. Ron and Lisa have a special knack for remembering everyone's preferences (orange juice, water, or coffee with breakfast) and they went out of their way to help me with a request to have the top tier from our wedding cake set up in the courtyard as a surprise dessert for my wife upon our return from our anniversary dinner. The extra attention and detail Ron and Lisa gave in meeting this request was extra special and very much appreciated. Whenever we return to Amelia Island, Mandy and I will surely plan to stay again at the Addison.

Everyone knows that a B & B is going to offer the “bed & the breakfast”. It was the many other little touches that made The Addison on Amelia a PERFECT experience! To start with... it is located in an ideal location. A short walk to all the restaurants and shops in the area. A short bike ride to the historic Fort Clinch ( beach ) Park. Lisa and Ron could not have been better hosts. I made a couple of requests... snap! Taken care of! Their happy hour on the veranda was quite enjoyable. A perfect venue to socialize with the other guests! Our second floor room was beautifully decorated. We particularly enjoyed the expansive outdoor deck with comfortable rocking chairs to sit and have coffee, read, and relax. Although the weather was chamber of commerce perfect, I pushed a button to light the gas fireplace for the charm rather than heat. Lastly, the breakfasts we were served were delicious! Thanks.

Our last visit to the Addison was on our honeymoon 15 years ago, and our revisit was great: beautiful and spacious room, new inn keepers are wonderful, breakfast was awesome, and Fernandina Beach has matured as a destination: an amazing selection of good restaurants. We won’t wait another 15 years to return.

I booked my ladies' trip with Bob and Shannon, but we stayed with Lisa and Rob, and we couldn't have been happier. It must have been an easy transition, because it was a luxurious stay with delicious food, REALLY comfortable beds, pillows, sheets, and towels, super friendly and helpful staff, bikes, and great suggestions for restaurants and activities. We walked or biked everywhere we went the whole weekend, so it was highly relaxing with lots of choices. My well-traveled friends and I were very impressed, comfortable, and sated with yummy breakfasts every morning. If you're trying to make someone feel special, bringing them to the Addison will ensure it.

Better than the Ritz!

We love Amelia Island. We went for a celebration weekend and found the room rate at the Ritz to be astronomical. We did use the Ritz spa for the day but found our time at The Addison to be even better than what we had hoped for at the Ritz. The room was huge. It was decorated with antiques and had a working fireplace and lovely jetted tub. The breakfast with fresh orange juice and great coffee was a treat... but the best part of the stay was the care and support of Lisa and Ron. The new owners of The Addison made every effort to make our stay special. They even mailed the gloves I left under the bed.

My wife and I visited for a few days. What a wonderful relaxing place. Our room and bath were spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The little courtyard reminded me of Savanna or Charleston. Ron and Lisa, the new owners, couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, as well as interesting conversationalists. Afternoon wine and cheese was very nice before we headed out to dinner at one of the amazing restaurants within a couple of blocks. Breakfast was delicious and innovative. Excellent choice. We would definitely visit again.

The ONLY place you’ll want to stay on Amelia Island

If you plan to visit Amelia Island, look no further than The Addison on Amelia Island. The house is ideally located in the historic district off the main thoroughfares and a few steps from great restaurants, shops and things to do. Our stay was December 2017 for my birthday Getaway. Ron & Lisa helped my husband arrange for flowers to be displayed in the room and a carriage ride around town before an intimate dinner at Les Clos French restaurant. They were sure every detail was perfect. Our room was spacious and quiet. The rocker and chair outside our room allowed us to enjoy the wine and cheese plate Lisa prepared for the Happy Hour as we overlooked the peaceful courtyard and trickling fountain. Lisa and Ron helped my husband book a private boat tour of Cumberland Island to see the wild horses and other wildlife, flora and fauna along the way. We learned the history of the Island and the Carnegie Family who played a large role in the development and preservation of the Island. The evening carriage ride was given by a very knowledgeable woman who taught us more about the rich history of Amelia Island. The horse carriage was charming and was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Lisa arranged for a 7 pm dinner reservation at a critically acclaimed French restaurant and our carriage took us directly to the restaurant after a 1 Hour tour. The Addison offers delicious breakfasts served on the veranda or in the dining area. The dining area is ideal to dine as a couple or a group. Fresh coffee, tea, juice, home baked sweets, fresh fruit and a scrumptious breakfast await every guest. In our opinion, there is no place to stay except The Addison.

This inn and it’s owners provide the perfect place to relax, explore and enjoy. Amelia Island is a beautiful place and the location of The Addison House is perfect. It’s close to the quaint downtown, a short bike ride to the beach and a great place to take advantage of special excursions. The Inn itself is charming and the owners and staff take great pride in it. Housekeeping does such a great job. My husband and I always look forward to a more than wonderful breakfast prepared by Shannon. Leigh and Bob certainly lend a hand. Happy Hour from 5-6 and hosted by Bob is a nice opportunity to relax and chat before heading out for the evening. This most recent visit was to unwind and enjoy some Christmas festivities. The entire town was decorated and just a joyful place. We can honestly say that even after a number of years staying here on many visits, it never gets “old” and NEVER disappoints. Will be back soon.

The perfect trip to Napa had been planned for months. At the last minute we were forced to come up with a new vacation destination due to the devastating fires in Northern Cali. We live in Central FL & had never visited Amelia Island. Several friends suggested it as we were frantically searching for our Plan B. I quickly began my search on trip advisor but was overwhelmed with making a decision. Then I discovered, The Addison! I knew it was meant to be because that’s also our daughters name. This B&B is a total gem. The innkeepers Bob & Shannon are the best! Shannon cooked up a wonderful breakfast every morning & even a special plate that fit my dairy/gluten free diet. Bob was on point the minute you sat down serving you with coffee or juice. The food was delicious & the view overlooking the courtyard area was perfect. Bob & Shannon provided the best recommendations for food, shopping & activities. The bed was so comfy & our room so cozy. I cannot say enough good things about this inn, the owners & the charming little island! You will not be disappointed.

The Addison on Amelia couldn't have been more perfect for a relaxing get-away! My husband and I had the nicest little min-vacation while staying there for three nights. Bob and Shannon were such gracious hosts. Our room (#4) was lovely, and the bed was super comfortable (always an added bonus). The breakfast was outstanding every morning, not to mention the evening happy hour. I'd have to say that this was our favorite B&B experience, and we definitely plan to return for another visit!

The Addison was instrumental to one of the best vacations my wife and I have had in our adult lives. You can see photos of The Addison’s beautiful rooms and read all about the excellent amenities, but it’s the things you won’t see until you’re there that make The Addison special. Lee, Shannon, and Bob have a remarkable way of making their guests feel completely welcome and especially valued, not just with the services and the food and the charm of the inn itself but also with the clear pride and pleasure the innkeepers get from hosting. As customers, we are thoroughly satisfied, and we give The Addison our highest recommendation.

Incredible place. My husband and I stayed for our anniversary. Absolutely gorgeous facilities.....lots of Southern charm, with much more of a Savannah feel. Super close to the town....five minute walk to shopping, restaurant, and bars. My husband and I actually originally had reservations at the Ritz. I couldn't be happier that we changed them to be right in the heart of town. Room had private entrance, which is ideal for coming home late. Delicious breakfasts served on the patio, happy hour snacks/beverages, selection of DVDs for evenings. I would definitely go back!

My husband surprised me with a visit to this delightful B&B for our 25th anniversary. He just said to be ready at 5 pm. All he revealed was that we would be at our destination by 3 am. Since I didn't know where we were going I wistfully packed for a beach visit with multiple swimsuits, coverups and a huge cooler expecting a long trip to a hotel on the coast far away. None of which I needed since we drove only an hour north of JAX. Bob was there to greet us with a smile on his face and handlebar mustache. He took us to the mint green #7 on the first floor. It has a king bed, enormous jetted tub, desk and lots of windows. The main house is an old Victorian with high ceilings, fireplace and beagle named Lou. Breakfast is gourmet with fresh squeezed orange juice and variety of items like hash brown muffins with fruit and bacon or homemade quiche served at your table rather than a buffet. We didn't meet his wife, Shannon, until the following day. Both were very nice and gracious. After a day exploring Amelia Island we came back for a brief happy hour and then later went out for tapas and seafood at Espana.

The Addison on Amelia made for a great "stay-cation" getaway for a long weekend. Bob and Shannon were so welcoming, and it's clear that they take great care of the place. The Inn is within walking distance of almost everything (I think we counted 42 restaurants within 6 blocks!) and we really loved being able to park the car for the weekend and not even think about it. My husband and I came here in February when it was a bit chilly, and all of our original plans had been outdoors. Bob had great recommendations for alternate entertainment / meals, and they were spot-on! Their daily happy hour is a great chance to have a drink and a snack and meet the other guests. There are such fascinating people staying here, and we loved getting an hour every afternoon to talk with them. The breakfasts are fantastic as well - multiple courses of delicious homemade food, and they'll even work to accommodate any dietary restrictions you may have. When we were there, we had creme brûlée French toast with a cranberry-walnut tart one morning, then a delicious breakfast panini with mini brie quiches the next! Gourmet! The room was very comfortable and spacious - we loved the jetted tub. We stayed in Room 10, at Bob's recommendation, and it was great. Huge bathroom, large, comfortable bed, and a lot of privacy. They even have a military discount! (Call before booking - I'm not sure of the exact terms.)

We have just returned from the best weekend at the Addison on Amelia. Our devilishly handsome host Bob was delightful , and with his daughter Lee and wife Shannon teamed up to make the most memorable weekend for not only us, but an entire inn full of guests from all over the globe. Breakfasts are not to be missed, and are as tasty as they are plentiful. Happy hour usually turned into happy hour and a half, with the guests and our charming host Bob sharing stories and telling tales. Everyone enjoyed an assortment of beers and wines along with a selection home made appetizers that are right out of a gourmet restaurant. Our Room ( Room 3) couldn't have been better with a huge bathroom, king sized bed, fireplace and a gracious balcony overlooking the charming homes in the area. My advice is , if you come to the Island and stay at one B&B, you have to stay at the Addison on Amelia. You can't miss!

Location location! If you are planning a weekend in Amelia Island / Fernandina Beach this is the place to stay! In walking distance of everything worth seeing, eating, shopping & enjoying. Our room had a cute little patio and huge 2 person jetted tub with double shower heads as well. Definitely not as large as the pictures online looked, but it didn't even matter. Loved this place! (Plus after I booked we received a notice that we were given an extra $85 off for some kind of summer promotion that was not advertised - BONUS!) All the linens were of very high quality & room was super clean. Staff was sincerely friendly & accommodating - owner Bob lives on property, he and his wife were great. Breakfast was AMAZING. The first day we were served a hash brown muffin then a pecan French toast bake with sausages & the best organic fair trade coffee I've ever tasted at a hotel/B&B. BETTER BREAKFAST THAN WE COULD HAVE HAD ANYWHERE ELSE. Day two was a cinnamon roll, then spinach quiche with hash brown stack & fresh fruit that knocked my socks off. They also offered a stocked fridge in the dining room that kept us hydrated with bottled water & soft drinks any time of the day. We missed the evening complementary alcoholic drink/ or tea & snacks(?), so can't comment on that. Just thankful for a restful & relaxing weekend after staying here :)

We stayed here for our 5th wedding anniversary. It was the perfect place for us. Plenty of opportunities to socialize with the other guests if you're into that sort of thing (like in a typical b & b situation), but enough privacy so that you don't have to (i.e. 2 person dining tables at breakfast, private entrances off of most rooms.) This was great for us because we work quite a bit with people in each of our businesses, so we were looking to just have time for the two of us minus a lot of small talk. The room was beautiful, comfortable, quiet. The staff was great and the food was delicious. Not a bad thing to report- we will definitely be back!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Just got back from a weekend getaway with my husband and found the Addison to be absolutely perfect. Our room was sophisticated and romantic. Staying in room 1 in the main house I was a little worried about being so close to the living room and dining room, but we never found it to be a problem. The linens were delightfully soft, the towels cozy, and all of the amenities top notch. I have food allergies/ dietary restrictions and Bob and Shannon went above and beyond to make me special breakfasts and even a gluten free snack for happy hour. My husband loved all of the normal breakfast goodies as well. We left relaxed and refreshed-- only wish we could have stayed longer! I can't wait to come back. Thanks, Bob and Shannon!

Surpassed all expectations of a short week night stay. Extremely friendly and helpful hosts willing to make considerations for out of town travelers. Our room in the new addition building featured a comfortable bed with luxurious bedding as well as a spacious walk in shower and loads of easy-to-forget amenities (e.g. Makeup towelettes, shampoo, body wash, hair dryer). Location is perfect for the downtown adventurer. Whatever you do, DONT MISS BREAKFAST! Truly snooze you lose, it's delicious. Sizeable military discount made this reservation the clear choice for our "vacation".

The Addison has taken my husband and I's breath away since we walked through the door. Bob and Shannon were wonderful hosts. Room #3 is cozy and has a beautiful balcony that overlooks the street. You can see other older homes from your balcony. The b&b is walking distance from restaurants and shops. We had the romance package added to our room. Roses, champagne, and a fruit/cheese tray were waiting for us upon our arrival. We will be coming back!!

Great Bed and Breakfast! Beautiful property, courtyard and the room was gorgeous. Convenient, short walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Owners Bob and Shannon are great hosts. Very down to earth people that will welcome you into their home and will help you with whatever you need while you are staying with them. My wife and I love to dine out and the nicest surprise during our stay was the breakfast each morning. Both mornings the homemade breaksfasts were outstanding. Nice happy hour social as well. Looking forward to our next stay at the Addison when we return to Amelia Island.

Our stay in room 10 was relaxing, romantic and felt like such a personalized retreat. Bob and Shannon are such welcoming inn keepers and have created an environment that is completely relaxing. The room was clean, cozy and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was very quiet and easy to sleep! The bathroom was amazing- the tub with jets was the perfect end to the day. Bob hosted happy hour for guests and was so hospitable. He provided recommendations for area activities and offered bikes he had on hand for guests to use. The morning brought breakfast that was beautifully presented and delicious. The yogurt parfait featured a creamy and refreshing yogurt that was bright and delicious. The quiche was on a perfect crust and well balanced with gruyere, spinach and prosciutto. I would highly recommend this Inn and stay again.

My husband and I planned a last minute getaway to Amelia Island and found The Addison online. We ended up in the last room available, room #5 and it was perfect for us....tucked away in the upper back portion of the house. The inn keepers, food, decor, location, and food were top notch. We can't wait to come back. :-)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Addison on Amelia. The Inn has new owners and just reopened about a year ago, so the only reviews here that are relevant at this point are from about March 2010 and later. The room we had was large and comfortable. There is a shampoo/conditioner/bath gel dispenser on the wall, so you don't need to bring any of these things with you. There are chocolates in the room and cookies/tea/coffee always available in the main building (try the Lemongrass-Ginger tea - it's fantastic!). The breakfast is always delicious and very filling. There is also a nice wine reception every evening. The owners will let you use their bicycles, beach chairs, beach towels and beach umbrellas. They'll also bring you an iron and ironing board upon request. We had a room that overlooked the courtyard and the sound of the fountain was wonderful - I just wish they had left it on all night so we could hear the sound of the water as we fell asleep. The inn is very "green" and there is a recycling bin available in each room should you choose to use it. Finally, the owners are happy to coordinate your dinner reservations and other activities (like a horse-drawn carriage ride) in advance so that you won't have to worry about anything when you get there. Housekeeping personnel are fastidious and even organize your toiletries and put away any clothes you may have left out. The inn is close to all of the restaurants in town, so you can have that extra glass or two of wine at dinner and not have to worry about getting to your room safely - you can just walk back. Overall, we recommend this inn.

Our stay at the Addison on Amelia was phenomenal! We stayed in Room 8, mainly for the private balcony and jetted tub! It was worth it. The room was very comfortable. The bed was great, with great linens and pillows. The towels were plush also--the attention to detail was fantastic. The outdoor space (our private balcony and the common areas) were fantastic--lush and relaxing. Their front room was comfortable and offered a myriad of games, menu information, books and more. In fact, we enjoyed a game of Scrabble while sitting out on our balcony. It was really relaxing and perfect. The food is terrific! The breakfasts were hearty, creative and tasty! Our first breakfast included a muffin that tasted like a donut (seriously), Grapes in a Citrus marinade with lime cream, and Croissant french toast with sausage. Our second breakfast was toasted pound cake with delicious fresh berries and lemon cream and a spinach/ prosciutto quiche with pan fried potatoes. The coffee was fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed the nightly happy hours. It was a great opportunity to relax before dinner with complimentary wine, beer and appetizers (tomato/balsamic/goat cheese on toast on the first night; cheese assortment on the second). You could mingle with the other guests if you wanted, but you don't need too. Personally I find it part of the experience! The location is great! We were within a 5 minute walk of numerous locally owned restaurants. From upscale French to relaxed Southern dining, you could find it within a stone's throw from the Addison. The innkeepers are great! Bob is quite the character, very entertaining and knowledgeable about the local area. They made our stay very special. Plus, their dog Maggie is a sweetheart!! I recommend The Addison on Amelia for a great weekend getaway--the rooms are lovely and updated; the food was top notch; and the innkeepers will make sure your every need is attended to. We look forward to returning.

Excellent place to stay on Amelia Island. I had a fantastic night's sleep (bed was excellent), the staff is very friendly and nice and the rooms are immaculate. I do wish the TV in the room was a bit bigger, but other than that, I have only good things to say.

Elegant! Hardwood floors, nice linens, jetted tubs/spa...it can't get much better...or can it? The food is to die for especially Addison's breakfast in a boat and the smoothies. There are many things to see in do in walking distance.
