They even had wine and a light snack in the evenings. I felt so pampered after a weekend of staying there. The room was big, beautiful and extremely comfortable. "This is THE place to stay on Amelia Island and we will always stay here when traveling. We were initially referred to the island by a group of friends back home who traveled here often. We went the first time for our anniversary and it also was the first time we ever stayed in a BNB. We literally googled and found The Addison and had the BEST time ever and so of course when we came back again this year we stayed here again. Not only is The Addison clean, well maintained, comfortable, friendly staff, and a great value - the owners (Lisa & Ron - oh and can't forget Molly!) are the nicest and most accommodating hosts. They make sure you have everything you need and would go out of their way to do so. They are also just very genuine people and we enjoy talking with them and learning all about their time on the island and life in general! Another key and important detail is the location! The location is PRIME and within walking distance to Historic Downtown and a quick bike ride to the beach too. We love this place so much and it truly is a secret gem.
